Rob and I cooked dinner tonight at home in our very tiny but efficient kitchen. Seasoned lamb steaks with roasted butternut squash bathed in honey and thyme. Pretty darn good. I loaded an electronic picture fame with pictures of family, friends, favorite places and of Maggie and have it displaying a slide show continuously as I type. We are starting to feel more at home.

G'Day, Mates!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a day of restfulness, Suz. Your creamer story cracks me up! So now you will have to order "white coffee" when you want creamer. They say the same in Fiji and look at you so strangely when you are simply asking for something so essential in our world. Bahahahahaha!!!
It will be snowing here in Colorado for the beginning of our week. May your first full week in the land of OZ be warm, productive, and peaceful during your visits with Maggie! Remember to "stay left" when you drive and "look right first" when crossing the street!! :)
Love,
Ruthie

ReplyDeleteHey Suzanne, thinking of you today. worked last night(Not a bad night) delivered 30 weeker, placed on a vent. Not something I do very often at MCR. It was exciting. Did my ACLS this last week, and now we're training for the new Epic computer charting, and looking over new health insurance, lot's of changes!!! I am off Baylor, working Mon, Tue, Wed, back to back, then my weekend on every 3rd. Now at the home front, Phil and I are doing great, (Refinancing the house together) That's huge!! As I take a deep breath, I am very happy about that. We are going to Aspen for the 4th of July, Sturgis in August, and then to Dallas in Oct for Dallas/Denver football. I am really stoked!! So, do you have a phone? Can I call you? You can email me. Maxwellnjm@gmail.com. I love your Blog, great way to Catch up. Your a very special lady. You deserve the best. Love you Joyce
